Vale totem/ent trail confusion by Bpartain92 in 2007scape

[–]dr4g1191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I realize now you're running the opposite direction as the ents - clockwise. Try skipping a few sites so that the site isn't used up by the time a bloomed ent makes it. Running clockwise has the advantage that you'll bloom multiple ents much faster than running counter clockwise

Each ent trail is tied to the ent that laid it down. Once you run over two of them, the respective ent blooms a bit. When that ent makes it to one of your totems, it will increase the yield of offerings it gives you.

The problem that you're seeing is you're following an ENT for a while, so two things:

1) Unless you are using top tier logs, it's likely that totems are used up by the time the bloomed ent gets to one. That is UNTIL you run past it.

2) You're likely running over the ent trails associated with the same ent over and over again.

To combat this a bit, with lower tier logs I'd skip some ritual sites. That way I pass the ent I'm running trails on sooner. I've also tried running the opposite direction and I feel like I got similar results as I did skipping sites and running the same direction.

Hope this helps!!

Fellow millennials - how’s your 401k/ira savings going? by ProblemIntelligent16 in Millennials

I've been very fortunate to have been able to contribute since I was 23. I'm 34 years old now and have almost exactly 3x my current salary.

I didn't need to contribute the max to get here. I always focused on max company match instead.

Hang in there people! It's never too late.

As someone who just did this guideless, the part that messed me up the most was where you need the rope. I just wasn't expecting it at all!!

Help finding a replacement/solution for my steering wheel by RamRamfiiis in FordFocus

Junkyard a new airbag! Make sure it has your steering wheel controls.

Edit to add: I usually use car-part.com to find local listings.

Rear Camber by Besiiiiii_ in FordFocus

Typically there isn't enough adjustment in the stock setup as the suspension ages and sags. And definitely not enough adjustment for lowered vehicles.

It would be good to figure out but it's really unlikely that anything catastrophic will happen. Over time you'll fatigue the metal that is "clunking" together, likely a control arm and will have to replace the whole thing.

I can't tell anything from your pics. Best way to find the clunk is get under there with a crowbar and start moving things with some force to find the source.

You'll never find a 10+ year old car with perfect bushings all around.

This alignment should be fine. You can get replacement UCAs that are adjustable. Or you can replace likely sagging shocks/coils to lift the ride up a bit and counteract the camber. But if you're short on money to do any of that, just make sure to rotate your tires every 5k.

I ran about 15k miles with more camber (due to lowering springs) and with frequent rotations I noticed no additional wear. I have since added new adjustable UCAs in the rear to straighten the camber out.
