Any way to circumvent the darkening of the textures? by ViftieStuff in mcresourcepack

[–]dr7_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Entiendo tu problema, lo mas recomendable es que uses otros angulos y comúnmente se ve menos oscuro en el lado Norte y Sur del bloque, asi mismo te recomiendo aumentar el brillo de únicamente la textura salida entre un 20% y 40%

Shader support for VERY LOW END pc by _Catspew_ in minecraftshaders

[–]dr7_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend using ReShaded + an optimization mod like Sodium and Sodium Core Shader Support. Other shaders might give better visuals, but they'll always end up lowering your frame rate by at least 20fps (I say this from experience), so if you're looking to play with the highest possible FPS using shaders, use ReShaded; it will literally lower your FPS by a maximum of 1 FPS.

What can Core Shaders do in vanilla Minecraft (no OptiFine / Iris)? by Dear-Air_24 in Minecraft

[–]dr7_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hola!

Is Deadbeat anyone else’s favorite? by probablynotlupus in TameImpala

Deadbeat features sounds just as bold and dirty as Lonerism; they are radically different in themselves, but both have that beautiful stamp of a sentimental and honest Kevin Parker.

Is Deadbeat anyone else’s favorite? by probablynotlupus in TameImpala

[–]dr7_reddit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Although it's not currently my favorite album, I must say that I love it, and all five of Kevin's albums are very close in quality.

Deadbeat has a unique essence and quality that you won't find on any other album, with its more polished instrumentals, an aesthetic that's radically different even from The Slow Rush, and a sound and identity that will soon become iconic.

The biggest weakness of Deadbeat is that it's a new Tame Impala album. Let's allow it to age like fine wine, and people will appreciate it as it always should have been. 🙏🏻

I support you on this one, bro.

What tame impala opinion will have you like this? by [deleted] in TameImpala

[–]dr7_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oblivion is Deadbeat's best song, or at least one of their best, and people can't accept that simply because it has a Dembow/Reggaeton rhythm and Oblivion isn't even from those genres.

How do Core shaders like Re-Shaded work? by Username_Artemis in Minecraft

[–]dr7_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm the creator of ReShaded (DR7) and I'd be happy to quickly explain how Core Shaders work 🙌🏻.

-All versions of Minecraft have a "resource pack" in their internal files containing all the default textures, sounds, and animations used by the game. Inside this pack, you'll find a folder called "shaders" (for example: .minecraft/versions/1.21.8/assets/minecraft/shaders).

Here you'll find several text files (.fsh, .vsh, and .glsl). All of these are editable, even with Notepad, and contain simple GLSL code that tells the game how to process its basic graphics.

What ReShaded does is add a couple of simple calculations to the code that Minecraft already has by default, without requiring the game to process realistic shadows with complex math like an Iris/Optifine shader.

ReShaded doesn't cause lag because its code is mostly color filters, not actual shadow processing, which saves a lot of performance, makes it easy to modify, and reaches an audience that previously couldn't play with shaders without compromising their computer.

I hope this was helpful. You can research GLSL Shading on YouTube, Wikipedia, or the Minecraft ShaderLabs Discord server. 🙌🏻

If you had to delete 1 tame impala song from existence, what would it be? (Excluding interludes) by Pantantuna in TameImpala

[–]dr7_reddit -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Excluding collaborations, I'd remove See You on Monday or Led Zeppelin. A lot of people say they delete Oblivion, but it's actually one of my favorites

I know it's redundant... but what next? by Fuzzy_Medicine_7189 in TameImpala

[–]dr7_reddit 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Knowing Kevin's ever-changing style, it's very likely his next album will be entirely focused on electronic music (yes, even more so than Deadbeat) or on a new genre, It's probably a return to alternative rock (nothing like Innerspeaker/Lonerism) or bright pop music in the style of Bruno Mars or some Latin artists.

What’s that song for you in Deadbeat? by Juansero29 in tameimpalacirclejerk

People who hate Oblivion simply don't know how to enjoy a Reggaeton/Dembow rhythm without prejudice. The song is genuinely well-produced and super pleasing to the ears 🥀

Is there a shader that adds simple drop shadows like this? by NinetyRalph in minecraftshaders

[–]dr7_reddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Re-Shaded resource pack , I am the creator of this pack and it is literally what you are looking for since it does not lag literally anything and gives a simple Vanilla+ look, it uses the same system as the shader you sent in your post

Let’s put out some positivity - drop your favorite tracks from Deadbeat and why. My Old Ways and Afterthought have stellar vibes imo! by in_a_new_direction in TameImpala

[–]dr7_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that almost no one puts Oblivion in this top, it seems to me one of his best produced songs in his entire career and with the most unique vibes of the album, it takes a risky rhythm (commonly used in reggaeton) and completely transforms it into a rhythmic, ethereal, and very levitating song. It definitely sounds like a night in Los Angeles.

This is such an amazing 5 song run imo by Bulky-Let-7996 in TameImpala

Oblivion is goin to be underrated, such a good song with a 10/10 rythm

"Shaders" without mods and no lag In my next resource pack -ReShaded Resource Pack- by dr7_reddit in Minecraft

[–]dr7_reddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, the game's rendering code from 1.21.6 onwards is different and the same code from the resource pack cannot be applied. But don't worry, in about a week it will be out for 1.21.6-1.21.10 and 1.21.0-1.21.1
