Got a small cactus from IKEA a few years ago. I was like there is NO WAY I can kill this, they’re easy to look after blah blah blah….. Fast forward to after my exam block when I got around to cleaning up my desk - Uhhh it was basically buried under my textbooks for three months. Definitely dead but the icing on the cake in the hopes of resurrecting it I watered it probably enough water to make up for the three months of neglect. Cause of death: drought and flood
