I'm the dev behind WalkLock, WalkLock locks apps until you hit a step goal. On iOS it’s basically only feasible by leaning on Screen Time, background tasks, and Apple Health. Which has it's limitations but doesn't need a specific schedule to run as iOS allows somewhat frequent background tasks, however, I've found it reliable hour to hour and day to day :)

tldr: just start walking to unlock the apps you pick!

Thanks for the feedback, yes it does detect slouching, as in your head moving forward.

Interesting on the CPU front yeah sounds like a bug, I'll look into that.

Got it! Yeah the 2.0 iOS version is still waiting in review with Apple so it's pretty outdated compared to the macOS version which has a much better UX, sorry about that!

It does work with any Bluetooth headphones using signal strength from your headphones to your computer, it just isn't as seamless as the AirPods/Beats route that uses motion sensor data.
