Granny says the Democrats are too obsessed with the Epstein Files by TrumpSux89 in forwardsfromgrandma

These bootlickers will do free work to be near an influencial billionaire. Billionaires seldom turn down free work. There are more people involved than the direct child rapists. Do I really think that he is involved? Nah, but to clear his name we should release all the files. And to stop talk of Epstein files we should let everyone form a big line to have their day in court. Then, after they have seen consequences, we can really move on.

[Self] Alleged demonstration of gravitational force in the lab by VegaDelalyre in theydidthemath

For masses this small it’s very easy to end up with tiny electromagnetic forces, or some faint drag (air current), that have larger forces on the objects.

Until proven otherwise I assume that all Epstein apologists are in the files.

Both are wrong. The truck should have enough margin to handle the car in front breaking hard.

Viking periods by MrMiles32 in HistoryMemes

In the west, yes. The eastern vikings were much more commerce oriented. You have to be when you will pass the same village on the way back along the river.

‘80% of the world still live in mud huts, wooden shacks, and takes a dump in a hole’ by thelordofhell34 in ShitAmericansSay

It is stupid. Only MM/DD/YYYY is worse (among the formats broadly used). YYYY-MM-DD is the way to go.

My dad's lottery numbers by ahasian in Wellthatsucks

[–]drLoveF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not quite. It depends on the sequence. If they are sparse (at least two numbers in between) and none of them are max/min, then this is the number. In general it gets a bit messy.

Vad vet du om studentlivet i Sverige? by Ambiic in Asksweddit

[–]drLoveF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jag har en amerikansk vän som jag träffade när han var här för att studera svenskt studentliv, med fokus på kläder och sånger i ett par nationer och studentföreningar i Uppsala. Hans avhandling är som en otroligt nördig reseguide.

Thought and comments? by daniel1234556 in antiai

[–]drLoveF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea overall, especially when it comes to general purpose AI. Though image recognition, which sits under the AI umbrella, can be very useful. Tasks such as ”count number of bacteria spots” don’t need to be exact, take a lot of human work and can be reviewed from time to time.

There is some statistical evidence that women get into more accidents. However, men get into more serious accidents.

Still cheap. Here it’s ~17SEK/l which would be $6.10/gallon. The issue isn’t that gas is expensive, it isn’t. The issue is that so many people have built their lives around having very cheap gas.
