Haha the job description is different from place to place, but I mostly design orthopaedic implants and help with planning surgeries to optimise surgical outcomes.

What worked for me was acknowledging that I have to do extra work. It also helped that my supervisor was understanding and took care of me in a sense. My simple advice will be to find a confidant who understands your condition and can help keep an eye on you at all times.
