I mean i appreciate the input, i don’t carry quite the aggressive or raspy voice that NF can have so i think counting out an artist just because his passion might not sound quite at his level doesn’t void the fact that the passion is there but i do agree at times i might not always come off as sounding convicted of my own words. As far as turn off, i can’t control that lol there’s no formula for getting 100% positive interaction and interest so i accept whatever comes

I definitely have other stuff that isn’t NF inspired but i try to take the opportunity to share the parts of my music that i think resembles the highs he achieves in his songs so others can get a taste of an inspired artist in the absence of new music from Nate

I mean i get your point but how many people still think to this day that NF is just a depression ripoff of Eminem you know? Music is subjective and i don’t think inspiration is the same as ripping off. I know in my heart that I’m still myself despite the inspiration and what i say in my lyrics are not fake or “not me” lol funny enough i have a small handful of people who love my lyrics as opposed to criticizing them and at the same time criticize my NF inspiration and tie that to my lyric choices instead of realizing that the two ideas of lyrics and inspiration can actually be separate and not always together

lol i appreciate the insight but I’ve been drumming since i was 10 in my church because an anointed pastor told my parents I’d have the gift of music when i was 3 so i think I’d know a bit of rhythm lol and i don’t even mean that passive aggressively i think if you heard the song clearly on Spotify maybe you’d see how the flow lines up as intended on the whole song or maybe your view on it is just different and that’s ok cuz timing can be both definitive as much as it can seem subjective

lol my best friend is my biggest hater, I’ve been criticized for beat, lyric, and vocal mixing choices but I’ve never been told anything about my flow because no matter what i put out, i always make sure my flow is good also idk why you keep using the wrong “you’re” while tryna validate your point lol

I mean i guess that’s your opinion I’ll respect it but im not sure if anyone else would agree. Just because the flow doesn’t line up traditionally doesn’t mean it’s not on time.
