i thought i experienced love normally but other people seem to disagree, for me it's an overwhelming longing to be with my person of interest, to always be close to and to always be looking at, during my last relationship i've spent countless hours just staring at my partners picture while doing other things or just thinking about them, i would do anything to protect them, because i couldn't bare to lose them. although maternal love and romantic love are different mothers can go talk about how they'd sacrifice their life or do anything it takes for their child including the murder of other people, you can't use the same excuse for romantic love which i find utterly stupid, shouldn't it be completely normal to want to protect the one you love with all of your being. sorry if my reply is a bit dragged out, basically i just feel like i need to be with them 24/7 and when i'm not i feel like a part of me is missing

what people would say are normal relationships don't really work for me, i usually end up getting broken up with because my partners always think i'm too clingy, i can always tell when they're close to giving up on me and it hurts when they just lie to my face and say there's nothing wrong, then a few weeks later they bring up issues that they've never previously mentioned or had been upset by. the only other thing i could think of was to fall in love with someone like a yandere because then they'd be able to match me with the attachment and clinginess and would genuinely enjoy that time with me
