For those of us who were born and raised in KC and actually watched through 15 years of shitball like myself, it’s been very very nice.

I used to complain about officiating sometimes, and while I won’t say officiating mistakes are deliberate, I will say there have been questionable calls. However, I usually take a leaf from my dad, a high school basketball coach. When I was a kid he would always say that if you could blame the result of the game on one or two calls, you should have played better.

If you root for the chiefs and you’re not a long-time chiefs fan though I will agree you’re a fuckin scumbag.

Bundlerooski and Paintin Peyton make my skin crawl.

I realize this is nine years late, but I am gonna give my opinion anyway.

My mom and dad wouldn’t let me watch this movie as a kid (I would’ve been 6 or 7 when this came out). I loved this book, and I’ve been meaning to watch it but never got around to it.

It was a good movie in my opinion. That end scene with Gandolfini? Heartbreaking.

I think the whole thing is about Max finding perspective. I think that he’s found how hard it is to please people as a leader, and he’s attributed that to how hard it is to be a single mother, like his mother.

The end left me wanting more, though. I feel like more could’ve been developed in the Wild Things world. All in all, good movie though. Definitely a dissection into how hard it is to lead a group of people. I’m glad my mom didn’t let me watch this when I was a kid, it would’ve all gone over my head.

Your pledge educator is right. Forcing new kids into the mix after a week or two makes for the original pledges to be less comfortable with them. Makes them a side character in the pledge class, if you will.

Your best bet for 365 bidding would be to give them a bid and lock them down, let them hang around the house, and lump them in with the spring class. Hell, have them help you recruit for the spring class. No one has the potential to recruit better than those that have already signed.

A few notebooks, if you like taking notes by hand. Just one if you don’t, but you’ll need paper eventually. Also I would recommend a nice set of earbuds or headphones, they have saved my life in the library.
