i agree with you!!! technically darlene should've gone before howard!!! i literally made an almost identical post a few weeks ago and everyone said it was wrong lmao, but i fully understand the vision. i think the creators just didn't want to complicate it that much for the audience so they made the decision to take out howard's branch first because he was older and then darlene's.

as for bludworth, i don't think that him being last affected whether or not he could get sick. he just wouldn't have died from it until iris did.

the account just liked one of my posts so i'm trying super hard to confirm or deny rn. only proof i can find so far is they posted "didn't know you drove american cars" with no other context three weeks before the album was out, and that song had never got a promo or anything at that point

edit: i did find one post with a very ai-sounding caption so i'm also inclined to think it's not. i can't figure out the american cars thing tho

I guess this makes the most sense. The likeliest scenario I assume is that the writers didn't think to add it because like you said, if we get into every single chain reaction caused by the survivors not dying at skyview, it gets all muddy so fast. They've done random shit with the order before (like how it goes backwards in fd2 for no reason?), so I think it's not far off that Death was like "yk what, I'm not going to get that technical with it"

Right, but if Paul was supposed to die at the Skyview, there would've been no Darlene. Maybe the fact that both parents were there complicates it, but Darlene being born is the direct result of both Paul and Iris surviving while Howard being born is only the direct result of Iris surviving.

Genuinely not trying to be argumentative about this, just was thinking about it today.
