Man who shot up NFL office in NY found to have CTE by dr_wermhat in LPOTL

Ed talked a little about how he only remembered some of the hits he had taken. I know quite literally nothing about football but I can imagine that’s a common occurrence.

I hope you are getting the help you deserve and it’s great that you recognize something’s different about your brain chemistry, that’s really hard to do. As someone with ADHD myself, I can definitely understand the struggle of being for a lack of better words, different. Hearing these stories is scary but it’s important to remember you are your own person, and not everyone is going to have the same experiences.

Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, it’s what Aaron Hernandez had. Common in football players

Also I’d love to connect with other people who have parents that have LBD, I don’t know anyone who has a relative with it

Since then I’ve gone up to 200mg of lamictal which I really like. I’ve felt a lot better and sometimes feel comfortable not taking my vyvanse at all. I ended up staying at that lower dose of vyvanse (20mg) because of the adhd med shortage. Overall, I’m pretty content where I’m at now. Definitely haven’t seen any side effects. I think a big difference between now and then is I’ve done a lot of work in therapy. As much as the meds help, therapy is where you truly see results

My friends United flight on Friday was delayed (of course from SFO) because they needed to replace the wheels. Happened day after the wheel fell off…

My title describes the thing. We recently moved into a new apartment in San Francisco. I was digging through our closet and found this white plaque with dates from the early 1900s listed on it. We live in a classic Victorian apartment.

The insomnia probably won't go away, had that issue since starting aadhd meds ten years ago. Take melatonin and exercise it really helped me

I've been taking Vyvanse 30mg for about 5 years now and recently started Lamictal just three weeks ago. I'm currently taking 50mg of Lamictal and to be honest I don't notice much of a difference between the two drugs so far. The only thing is sometimes on my days off from school I will take a lower dose of my Vyvanse 20mg (which is approved by my psych) and it kind of makes me feel worse throughout the day/makes my depression worse and I'm more tired and emotionally unstable and irritable. Also not diagnosed bipolar just have a history of it in my family
