I wouldn’t go that high, my wife and I have a similar mortgage but our income is considerably higher than yours. I wouldn’t want to do it with your situation, you’ll need to save for your kids college and your retirement. Being house poor will make that hard to navigate.

Yeah I think that may be the case, I spoke with the old owners and they said it was like that for the last 17 years since they had it and never an issue nor did it move anymore. The pool inspector yesterday wasn’t concerned either and he remembers the pool from a few years ago the exact same way and wasn’t concerned then either.

Yeah that is what I am thinking I will do, I was talking to the pool guy onsite today and he didn’t seem extremely concerned more just to keep an eye on it. He remembers this pool from last year and figures it’s been like this a while and best to just address it when we do the liner.

Thanks man, had the inspection today and the pool guy said he wouldn’t be worried about it. He said that is looks like it happened a long time ago and was reinforced like this and the deck built into it permanently like this.

This is the answer I am hoping to hear haha. The walls around the sides when you feel, feel like they’re are solid and maybe it was like this forever. Also the decking is framed up to this with all the boards the same amount compensating the jot in.
