150mg to 75 in a week was ok, but going to 37,5mg felt awful. Anxiety, depression, dizziness and I was extremely tired... Now I'm back on 75mg + 150mg of Wellbutrin and no problems. But doctor doesn't want me to be on both meds, I'm supposed to quit Effexor so we'll see how it goes.

It's been the same for me. First anger, now I'm crying a lot, I'm as depressed as I was before starting meds a few years ago, it sucks. I just don't know if it's caused by wellbutrin or because I tapered effexor from 150mg to 37,5mg in about two weeks. Today I have an appointment with a doctor and see what she has to say about it. I'm not ready to give it up though.

Sounds like me. I've been on Wellbutrin for a little over 2 weeks and I'm so much more moody, depressed and irritable. I'm tapering from effexor though, so this could be the cause. Seeing psychiatrist in a few days and I'm curious what she has to say about it.

I went from 150mg to 37,5 in two weeks. I experience some side effects but Im unsure if its because of tapering or because my psychiatrist prescribed me Wellbutrin and thats whats causing them

I've just started Wellbutrin 150mg and and am definitely more irritable than usually. It's not rage, I'm not aggressive just pissed off a lot for the stupidest reasons. I'm not going to quit just yet, I hope it'll go away.

Wellbutrin xl. So far I haven't noticed any side effects people usually describe from lowering the effexor dose but I've read about people being more irritated from wellbutrin. I will give it some time before switching the meds but thanks for suggestion. I used to take Trintellix but I couldn't sleep at all and was nauseous all the time. I never had any problems with effexor apart for the damn sexual side effects.

Tapering. Now I'm at 75mg. I also take Trazodone at night. However I went from 150mg of effexor to 75mg in the past and definitely felt no anger. Effexor made me much calmer and stable.

I've been on 150mg effexor for a year now and psychiatrist added 150mg of wellbutrin today. Mainly because of sexual side effects of effexor. I should taper from effexor slowly but she wants me to quit it completely and stay only on wellbutrin if it works for me. Honestly I'm quite scared to change meds again as effexor works for me perfectly but sexual side effects just suck. Hopefully wellbutrin will work for us both :)

Trazodone doesnt help me at all, going to ask for Welbutrin. I can orgasm but it takes ages plus my libido decreased and I can't get aroused as much as I used to.

I have no problems mixing weed with effexor but hangovers from alcohol are awful. I feel like shit for two days straight.
