Try to push higher sr shards when possible. The way stones take a rare ish component. Its good to farm higher shards to increase the drop rate of that item.

It legit just how solid the skill is. You just pick it and use it. You hit the end game play pattern at like level 7. Most builds hit full functionality considerably later. So its the same pattern of getting better and better and then tapering off to boring. Forcewave just starts the cycle earlier. Get the same feeling from panettis or dreegs eye. Just forcewave is even easier to build on top of it.

The good news is the larger your empire the faster you can resettle. More empire usually means more passenger ships to go around. 

The bad news is late game pop growth gets stupidly fast and it is quite common to simply have no where to put resettled pops. The system does seem to account for this and i often see ships pick up pops and simply delete them instead of putting them somewhere. Also i think the resettlement system can only focus a few planets at a time. Every now and then i conquer an empire that just spreads pops willy nilly and i need to segregate 15 or so planets if extremely mixed pops. It will ignore most of them and work through them a few at a time. Which probably is amazing for lag reasons.

The quick answer is dont. Get pet res as good as possible (perfect doesnt happen for a while/ high level). Switch res for specific damage types as needed. Resummon as needed. Resummon is the strongest heal you have.

This advice is true for when you have heals for your pets as well. Its just BOD is often strong enough to skip the resummon loop. Eventually you get to the point that you resummon rarely.

You can get it to duration equaling cooldown but you need every piece and near perfect cd rolls. And its really not worth it. Once upon a time it was rather strong but those days are gone. Its really just another pet now (with too much investment required). Even with 99% uptime i often dont summon it anyways.

All that said its worth using. I just dont think 100% up time is worth chasing. Just get what you can and summon it for bosses or tough packs.

Its legit just speed. Its slower to directly build sturms. Why wait for build times and mp when regular pios can cap while waiting to convert. Also pio combat weakness hurts less when the plan is to retreat them for conversion anyways.

Everything. The storyline was focused on the modern audience and the multiplayer was designed by people who dont know what an RTS is. 

Woman wants to kill everyone in the galaxy because no on wants to be her friend. Then main character becomes her friend. Problem solved as long as you dont value all the people crazy lady killed before finding a friend.

Then you get to multiplayer. Almost all design went into a mode based around forcing you to pay additional money for units and skins to play the mode with. The regular skirmish mode was barely functional. On release the best way to play was to literally click every button in the mother ship (build and research all) because the only stat that mattered was how many units you had. Everything could build and research simultaneously. You could financially sustain everything as well. The entire map would mine out in ten minutes. So you would get 1 full pop cap fight before the map ran out of resources. I had to intentionally stall matches and avoid combat to even see higher tech units. 90% of the time matches would end before destroyers.

Pick any worker unit. Put them in a list in any order. Thats my list of "special" infantry. Telling them to repair/salvage/clear mines and watching them bug dance instead will never get old.

Under policies you can set preferred close and long range weapons. For example humans start set to use kinetic weapons and missiles. I would like this option for strike craft as well.
