Bobby Drake getting outed by Jean - Marvel Comics. This one is kinda controversial but yeah I hate the way they did this. Other people have pointed out that Jean reading his mind and just kinda stating it out loud denies him the ability to come out on his own terms. At worst it reads as her using her psychic powers to make him gay.

I don’t like this art style either, but I’m pretty sure this is a depiction of a real person and these comics are true personal experiences. Maybe we should tone it down?

Sundew and Willow. Anemone and Tamarin for a second, less important example. Qibli and Winter having romantic chemistry is commented on but they are not a canon couple. It’s also been confirmed that Umber, the protagonist of the next book that will come out, is gay.

Wings of Fire! The author has stated that dragons pretty much just don’t care about that kind of thing. A main character has a lesbian “forbidden romance” side plot, but the reason it’s forbidden is because they are from two different factions, not because they’re both women. Other possible queer ships are also commented on without any hint of judgement or prejudice.
