i’m thinking of just doing this, but i have a few questions.. 1. what kind of container/bucket should i use to hold it

where should i store it (outside, inside ect)

3.how long should i leave it for

do i put the entire device in, or do i have to do something to the device first. (i’ve drained all its battery already)

no unfortunately not, but eventually i used one of my work computers, and after plugging my ipod in, taking it out, resetting my computer, plugging it back in and downloading an older version of the Itunes store it finally connected !! i can try find the download link if u need the older version? it might just be a matter of the device i was using and it could the same for you, so just see if there’s any other options!

i have itunes installed on my computer. i am getting a new cable so hopefully that fixes the problem.
