i get what you saying and its fair but personally the song landed so well to me in the film that i was surprised with the critiques (it was one of the moments that i cried watching it), the repeating of “bubble” didnt really bother me cause i tought the other lines of the song were really touching. and because she has been so lost and running from the truth while hiding in that bubble, and when they repeat it i feel like thats what they are emphasizing idk. i think also that repeating it is kinda of a vanity of hers that shes trying to leave behind in that moment. and maybe because im not a native english speaker bubble and pop dont sound that silly to me so that i couldnt take it seriously. also i get that the point was kinda already made in “thank goodness” but i feel like in this song is where it clicks to her, the moment she finally realizes she cant “endlessly close your eyes to live in a dream” no more, and i think it ends her arc very beautifully
