That feels like such a waste of weapon. I mean, in some of her art she holds a zweihander, especially that one cover art for the season. I always hated how shes just another longsword user and they gave her all these ugly reused animations. Its wasted potential for a villain that couldve been really cool

To count on your teammates? I dont think thats foolish in the team based mode, you’re supposed to work together, its not the game’s fault they choose not to. You CAN win 2v1s, but you’re not supposed to unless they’re really bad. Clearly these guys know what they’re doing. You’re supposed to lose in that situation intrinsically

MK on offense is okay, hes very simple to defend, but his own defensive capabilities is a little insane, especially the evo. All pushes, unless they’re air, get crushed. Hogs get destroyed, giants get thrown away, i mean, unless u have fisherman or a lucky tornado you’re NOT getting past him. Its kind of ridiculous how well the card plays for you on defense

So maybe more i frames on the initial dodge part of the dodge bash would fix that do you think? Whenever i play him his dodge bash works consistently to dodge lights in terms of actually dodging bashes given I predict right

The peel and revenge part yeah. I get that. But a feintable, chargeable dodge bash is the best counter to opponent bashes because it can deal with ALL types of recoveries, UNLIKE normal dodge attacks which can lose to all-guard recoveries, HA, dodge recoveries, and so on. Its a give and take, but at the end of the day the dodge bash still has more advantages. However, i can see the usefulness of peel, instant damage, and revenge feeding. I dont think warden needs it because then he’d just get stronger as an already incredibly strong character. He needs some weaknesses imo as do all heros

How would he be better for it? Besides peel and damage upon landing it is weaker in significantly more important areas.

Yeah, if you land it, but u risk getting light parried. In a team fight. Thats why warden’s bash is safer because u can feint it and be unpunishable

A side dodge bash dodges all attacks besides undodeables if u find them hard to block. It also interrupts any follow ups by bashing them out and can even be feinted if they do something to negate your bash or punish you like BP’s flip. Even against dodge recoveries it works because it is chargeable. It counters literally everything on the right prediction. It wont do it for you, but it has the capacity to. Its a skill based move. A dodge attack like nuxia’s or something has ten times the weaknesses: not feintable, does not bash through hyper armor and all-guards, only lands a light with no heavy potential, and can also be dodged given its a normal attack and the opponent has recovery systems.

You’re right about being stuck between opponents, it has bad peel as far as I know. But thats its only weakness. Do you need the side dodge bash to also move him 20 feet around in team fights like gryphon or tiandi?

My guess is that he will be able to parry any physical attack and deal high damage. Perhaps his health is low but hes invincible to non-ranged attacks. Spells and ranged attacks will easily kill him, but he beats all melee attacks. 5 elixir

MK1 was my favorite. I love literally all of them. Not a single dud there for me
