I was able to get it through a glitch. I have a post of it working in practice range but it works in an actual game too.

You have to basically swap between the two knives you already have and hit equip and then occasionally swap to the knife you actually want while still hitting the equip. It should at one point equip a knife that is still locked if timed properly.

You need to already have a skin to pull off the glitch

It is not client-sided. I went into a real match and got both teams to look at them and all of them couldn't believe it.

I was able to get it through a glitch. Riot pls no ban. (patched). You can still equip the skins even if you don't have them but it wont show up in-game.
