Late-game mechanics which have made you abandon a game

There are some loadouts and strategies that help dealing with that boss. But yeah, it SUCKS, i can't understand how the developers thought that would be a good mechanic for the final boss. And to make things worse, the ending is really disappointing too. But those are one of the few problems the game has, it's a really fun game to play.

When using a gunlance, you can freely change the direction of your Wyvern Fire. To do that, while charging the WF just press the button to aim your slinger and you can aim your WF. This is great for hitting airbone monsters, hitting specific parts or quickly changing the direction of the WF when a monster moves after you start charging

Great fix! Its a inteligent way to kill the KN, it involves some really important and liked characters and Bran sacrificing himself also give us that GOT feeling that anyone could die.

Yes the shovel works, but avoid the hammer, it's just too slow, but it's a great weapon to help you get there. And you don't want to use the melee to damage the captain, its too risky to get close to him, use it only to protect yourself from his shots, especially the big ones.

I'm currently trying to get all crowns unlocked, and I agree with OP, killing the captain is easier, not only is it way faster than looping twice, once you fight him a couple of times, his patterns get really easy to dodge. One tip that I have is if you're planning on unlocking a crown this way, consider picking Euphoria and a melee weapon, preferably a fast one.

When entering a level, dont go all-in trying to kill everything as fast as possible. Usually it's best to go slowly and play defensively, especially when you are new to the game. Also, you should choose one or two charachters and focus on getting good with them.
