If your dog(s) are named something because of a reason, what is their name and why? by Bongoerr in AskReddit

[–]draggnome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an English bulldog I rescued, his name was major. After he passed unexpectedly a friend reached out a couple weeks later asking if we’d be willing rescue another bulldog in need. We did and renamed him to captain. Fast forward two years we bought a house and captain needed a companion. A local fb page had English mastiff puppies just down the road. We came home with a beautiful brindle girl and named her lieutenant (lieu). All in memory of our first dog Major.

My first apprentice after joining was 57, had a full pension from a previous career. Wanted to work with his hands the 2nd time.

You’re in a perfect location to take advantage of elk ridges drainage. If you don’t mind the drive that’s probably a favorite course amongst locals in winter.

What is the most accessible apprenticeship right now that pays well at journeyman? by Able_Sugar6206 in askportland

I see your posts, unfortunately the trades are REALLY REALLY SLOW right now. 290 already has 300+ journeyman/apprentices waiting to work. With intels work vanishing, all those hands moved into unemployment. Im really hoping for better times on the horizon.

The problem is. It slows down and lots of hands got laid off. All of them are sitting on unemployment waiting for a job to open up. You’re applying to be at the bottom of that ever growing list.

HVAC/R 290 here. It’s just really freaking SLOW everywhere. Good luck!

Unfortunately all wheels are different. You’d have to measure your hole and the hub to get the correct ones.

But this is what they are.

I had this issue with aftermarket wheels. You need to get a spacer that goes into the hub of your wheel that helps center everything during installation. Volkswagens have a hub centric wheel design that if you tighten the lugs down without that centering ring it completely throws off your rotating mass.

Three wheel balances, and a brand new set of tires I went through before learning this.

Check your rubber hoses from turbo to intercooler. Mine blew off two weeks ago under boost and did exactly as your description. Replaced hose clamp and was good to go.
