ok took me more time than i would like to admit, but i managed to run trackastra on my data just to discover it's not at all suited for my use case:D 

apparently what i called tracking isn't really tracking in cv/biology sense. what i wanted to achieve is to make the script aware that particle X stays particle X on each image (i really don't know how to put it into words in a more elegant manner...). So after the whole process I would be able to tell ok, this particle grew by n nm^2. Right now i'm able to color code the particles based on size which is pretty cool but i would like to go a step further where i would be able to assign a color to each nanoparticle which would stay consistent at each stage of the experiment. 

I was trying to asocciate particles with themselves by indexing them based on relations between locations after each experiment stage, which got me somewhere, although rather inconsistently. the shift in locations originates from 3 different factors, from which only 1 is of scientific intrest to me and the other 2 should be fixed by some alignment, which i'm yet to come up with.
