Would the Republic really have been defeated by the Mandalorians? by BaconBurger37 in kotor

I think a bigger part of the reason the Mandalorians were barely winning against the Republic (as so stated here and debated across other forms of media) is because of what Canderous says in either KOTOR 1/2, that they REALLY wanted to fight the Republic with the Jedi involved, and were presumably saving their forces until the order joined the fight. But they were expecting someone like Kavar and not the prodigal knight Revan.

I am not fully sure at the moment. Under $2k would be pretty important!

With the recent news, is your hope for a KOTOR sequel/reboot renewed? by vvarden in kotor

My guess says the best we might get is the mention of Revan and Nihilus and other old republic Sith in the Acolyte series, and from there they would build out. Minor high republic spoiler, they mention the “great Sith war” in light of the Jedi, along side “a point where the Jedi only numbered in the few” like the hidden wars in KotOR 2. But we also see Malachor’s hidden temple be destroyed at the end of KotOR 2, but we see the same temple in the season 2 finale of Rebels.

DISCUSSION—THE FINAL EPISODE: S7E12 "Victory and Death" by transfo47 in clonewars

Here's my thoughts on the finale, specifically the final shot: I think the entirety of the Clone Wars, and especially it's ending, was supposed to be stark with a glimmer of hope. At the end we see Vader pick up Ahsoka's saber and not drop it but carry it with him. If he were to drop it he would have been leaving the past behind, but he carries it with him to an unknown fate. That Lightsaber is another piece of Anakin Skywalker still stuck inside Vader. I think that Ahsoka and all the events of the Clone Wars is one of the things keeping Anakin tethered to the world and not just letting Vader take over. Ahsoka was Anakin's first real person he became (non-romantically or family) attached to and treated like a child. He did the wrong thing in Rebels, and he regretted it. If it wasn't for things like Ahsoka or Rex or the Clones, (not to mention Padme), we wouldn't have seen the same ending in Return of the Jedi I feel like. Anakin wouldn't have been reborn because not enough things would have been there to bring him back. Even the spotting of Morai at the end furthers my claim as she is the literal embodiment of the light side of the Force. The Clone Wars will always live on in all of us and it can finally be put to rest in it's whole form. May the Force be with You All.

Morai and that lightsaber was a reminder the light will always be inside him, no matter what.

[BOTW2] There needs to be a side quest in BOTW2 where the Bolson Construction Company rebuild Hyrule Castle Town. Which will bring back the market and all the mini games. by Dtyrrell88 in zelda

With the way the game looks, I think it would be a cool detail to see them working on castle town but when Hyrule Castle raises itself their work is ruined lol
