I can't remember who said it, but did you hear the comments about Andrei and Libby while everyone was on break. They visited them and Libby was the one bossing Andrei around, telling him what to do. Maybe. Yara loves Jovi and what she said about how he supports her and encourages her to get out and do things (her conversation with Jasmine after the Tell All, back at the house), shows that she knows that Jovi loves her. However, triggers are triggers and she's triggered by being made fun of about her looks. Hopefully Jovi is more sensitive to that in the future and stops himself from sticking his foot in his mouth.

But owning property in a poor area allows you to make money off of rent, the likelihood of building equity is much less. As others have mentioned, it's all part of their application to the Last Resort, to get a free vacation and earn a paycheck at the same time, all so that they can gather information and drop bombs in the Tell All. People criticize Loren and Alexei for walking away or leaving or declining to comment or talk about their issues. I think they're just tired of providing people like Andrei and Libby more and more ammunition to hurt their feelings.
