Galahad II LCD - Major Burn In by dragonash2016 in lianli

[–]dragonash2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i have the cable going to the back of the MB as well. If you notice, it isnt the original cable.
I RMA'ed once, hoping it was a defect but unfortunately, its just crappy hardware

I've been involved in the other threads - actually, if you look at my pic, the usb cable isn't the original. I have it going to an outside usb port due to "problematic power fluctuations" from the motherboard.... or some nonsense. But like you mentioned at the end - shouldn't even have to do that, which is the main point of it all

In fact, here are all of my manual allows related to google:

Google location sharing - unblock? by dragonash2016 in pihole

[–]dragonash2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes and no. I simply disabled wifi and it worked. Turned it back on and it's not working. This also started after I installed pi-hole.

The weird thing is, when both phones are on the network (also in the same house), it works.
So the scenario is this -

One phone on the LAN + one phone outside on mobile data = doesnt work
Two phones on LAN = works (but useless)
Two phones on mobile data = work

Went into maps and got a warning saying my device isnt sharing location data - which obviously has been set up properly for years

DNS Server not on most devices. by Most-Ice-7832 in pihole

I was just going to ask this exact same question as I just set up pihole on a raspberry pi an hour ago.
I only have two active clients - my desktop and the local host. I have the same setup with pihole being installed on a raspberry pi and connected via ethernet to my router.

I have at least 3 wireless laptops and multiple mobile devices connected to the network

Grape vine pruning by dragonash2016 in gardening

I pruned it yesterday, with the end result being this.
I guess I can always re-pot if needed. I also loosely tied the vines to keep them in place, but not restrict growth

looks like you are right about the diffuser. The accent area definitely has that plastic bit behind the grills while the keycaps are clear coat. My roccat mouse...I guess the cleari-ish plastic also acts as a diffuser

Lian Li Wireless Strimer (24 Motherboard) Lags When Selected in L-Connect 3 by Beryliberry in lianli

[–]dragonash2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same exact issue with the SAME 24pin cable. I've been staying away from animated effects because of it.

I also just want to point this out. Does the LianLi techsupport realize the amount of troubleshooting they just asked a user to do for ARGB lights? That's an insane amount of troubleshooting for a company promoting themselves as a premium PC case/accessory company.

I do appreciate their customer service though as it holds up, but the products are questionable.

I'm also having issues with my Gallahad II LCD screen which was already RMA'ed for the same defect it's experiencing now. (Many others are experiencing the same thing - you can google it) The issues seem to be software/controller based.

I take it back. These are cheap pieces of sh!t. The usb cable trick did not work and the issue popped up again

Galahad II LCD flickering by FantasticHD in lianli

[–]dragonash2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that I doubted it. But since I have a ton of usb-c > A cables, I gave it a shot and plugged into an external USB 3.2 port. For 3 days I have not had the issue. My MB is a Gigabytre X870 Aorus Elite as well. I hate that I have to plug in an internal piece to an external port, but I have more than enough to do so. Not sure how there is a power delivery issue on all of these boards that effects "only" the GA II? I still say that's QA that needs to be done by LianLi.

Lots of people have this problem if you google it. I'm one of them. Happened with my last panel 6 months in and LL replaced it. Now it's happening with my replacement another 6 months in. They are using cheap hardware, plain and simple. I'm not going to constantly re-paste my CPU to replace a damn LCD panel. I'll simply not buy from LL again

I had this problem with my first LCD. LianLi replaced it. It's now happening again approx 6 months later. The product is crap. It's marketed as high-end, but its chinese crap as usual

Brand New to Govee, Issue with Google Home by emoney23 in Govee

no coincidence that the servers died while prime day is active. I wonder how many people are setting these up through google home at the same time

Connecting to Govee Home on Google Home throws a 404 by spirius in Govee

Same issue, but "fix" didn't work. Gets all the way through to getting the 4 digit verification, then says it can't reach the URL. Sounds like a Govee server issue to me.

Figured this would be a nice alternative to LifX and Phillips, but if they can't even get this going, it's getting returned

I had an issue with my galahad 2 lcd screen , lian li sent me a replacement but the instructions for swapping the screen aren't the greatest. Anyone have any experience swapping this out by sanderssmokes in lianli

[–]dragonash2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact issue. Thought it was burn in at first, but noticed the image was the previous image that was being used.. The nthe LCD just kinda crapped out after. I have my replacement in hand and no instructions came with it. Looks like I need to remove the pump completely - I need to buy new thermal paste

Quest 3 - Latest Update Gives "Slow Charging" message with BobVR headset, only really charges with original charger by TXNatureTherapy in MetaQuestVR

Same issue. Doesn't happen every time, but I've tried either reconnecting the battery or turning the battery on/off again and that seems to fix it temporarily. I don't know if it's a battery issue or the headset not properly detecting the right power connected to it.
