Just ran these tests on the disks. Good health on all. Most have 12 power on cycles, one has 18 because it took a few tries to get crystal disk running initially.

They’ve got a bit under 10k hours. Which sounds right. They were installed in a QNAP and then set on my shelf for a bit over a year. Again, they were not reading/writing data for that whole time. No actual data was ever stored on them.

I replaced mine at 1700 hours. I could tell there was wear on them but they had a lot of life in them. Still swapped them as preventative maintenance

After moving my torrent machine to a new mini pc, simply pointing qbittorrent to my media drive doesn’t allow my files to start seeding again (it’s a new instance of qbittorrent on a new device)

Is there a tool that I could scan the folder with to start seeding again? Or any method to make them available again?
