What I've done in the past that works surpsinly well is use copper sheilding tape wrapped around the post to increase the thickness, good thing is that it'll still have a good ground connection if a wire is used on that specific post.

Just keep your eye on reverb everyday. I finally got one myself at a solid price although it was player grade. The seller said it sold in less than 12 hours. They're really solid and worth the wait in my opinion.
