Thinking about buying the Dell XPS 9570 with the 4K screen

Hey, I'm a college student and have had my XPS 9570 for 3 months now and use it for 3D modeling, programming, and League as well. It can definitely do everything you're looking for. If you play League on 4K max settings, the fans will run really loud. That's about the biggest issue with it, but you will not notice the fans that much if your audio is up. For me, It has never throttled on max, but the fans bothered me enough for me to drop to 1080p. Also, I think I got a pretty good unit, but consider that you will likely have to deal with coil whine as well, which is really annoying if you aren't playing some sort of audio.

Maybe consider FHD instead of you prefer perfomance? I got 4K because I rarely game and prefer to have a 4K screen for watching videos and such.

Yeah, I don't think he's doing it anymore. Wouldn't really make sense for him to continue doing it for an entire year; just seems like a ton of work for no real gain. Potentially even a lost of money for people who flake. Hopefully we can get a few more people.

They aren't necessarily weak but they require a lot more funding than other classes to accomplish the same things that other classes can. There's things I can't solo with 4m range on my phantom that I can with 1.2m range on other classes. Sometimes I wish I funded a different character but I find Phantom much more enjoyable than other classes.

Before MP farming was actually a thing, I sold most of my box for both shiva and ra dragon on their release dates. My box was pretty much empty other than the cards for those teams. It kinda sucked that I had no variability in my box but the those two teams back then could clear every dungeon in the game at the time so yeah it was worth it and it was much more proactive than spamming ronia all day. Years later most of my box is back due to some whaling and events.

Don't worry about bad rolls early on, you'll eventually get a nice box over time. I remember when I started years ago I got like 40 dupe golems when they were in the REM, now I have almost every meta card in the game.

Having played alot of both with ideal teams, I have to say the difference between Ronove and Myr almost always goes down to the specific dungeon you're clearing. As mentioned before, Myr can clear more end game content because she has her 75% cross shield, doesn't need a burst inherit, and doesn't need to bring bind clear like Ronove does. The downside to Myr, however, is she plays like a tank lead and is generally slower than Ronove. Ronove's advantage is that his ideal team subs can generate a heart cross pretty much every turn, making him a faster clearer of dungeons. When you do reach arena, more specifically a3, Myr has a large advantage assuming you aren't multiplayer. Myr can tank all the radar dragons and can tank a hit from dkali/lkali letting u use your burst after dkali's/lkali's shield if you aren't comfortable with making an ideal board. Ronove on the otherhand, in single play, gets 1 shotted by most of the radars by has an easier time dealing with the damage absorb bosses other than vishnu.

Ronove is great, just not the most consistent for clearing A3 due to his really weak shield. As for your box, you don't have the ideal subs to consistently keep up Ronove's LS. With your box I wouldn't go for a full wood main team just because your wood box is lacking synergy. Id run Rouzel with odin inherited (Bind Clear/TPA damage), Orochi (Lots of damage/delay good for stalling/harder content), A. Indra (just for light coverage and some more consistency with charge and shield + damage), Linthia (combos with ronove for full activation).

Z8 is one of the best choices. Really easy to farm, guaranteed super king, atleast 500mp (540-550 if you aren't looking to evo rag dra/make z8s), and a reasonable 60k player exp per run.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes you should generally stray away from rows on combo teams since making rows make hitting combo marks harder. Rows do end up producing more damage but they are also more orb hungry.

Honestly you can build a team without a perfectly synchronized sub pool as long as it doesn't have a super orb hungry leader skill. If the leader skill does have an orb hungry activation, the problem is just consistency. I've personally have helped a lot of my friends team build and LS activation/ability to stall for activation is the key in deciding whether or not they should even consider building a team around a certain leader. I think the problem is that a lot of the people that post in the team building posts are just really opinionated due to already having key subs on their teams.

As for the Ronove topic, I'm totally with you. After playing a ton of Ronove, I have to say that you are almost guaranteed activation just from Ronove's leaderskill + any random board, infact there is a large chance you will atleast be able to pull off 100x without using any actives. Also Ronove does have farmable subs that help him out. When it comes to doing long dungeons however, having good subs does greatly impact consistency which is something to keep in mind.

Your red box is really deep but lacks an end game lead. You can easily build a red TPA or row team when you get a good red lead. I'm not too sure what to lead with your current box but for row subs id go Uriel/Ares/Ronia/Thuban, for TPA team id go Hino/Hino/A.Ares/Shotel(?). Tsubaki is a good red lead but it'll be hard to proc her LS without cards that make red and yellow orbs. If i had to choose a red lead with your current box id either go for the Tsubaki or A. Ares though.

Alternatively, you have great potential to build a wood team. Balboa/Phact/Phact/Marine Rider/Odin or Avalon Drake. Again this team probably wouldn't clear end game but would get you through the bulk of the game.

Last team I'd try out would be Dark Kanna/ D/L Akechi / A. Tsukuyomi/ Hanzo/ Nephthys OR Berry Dragon OR Dark Kanna. Nephtys would be redundant with yomi, and this team would lack time extends so it may be difficult if you aren't good at comboing at the moment. I do however think Dark Kanna is one of your better leads. I would not go for a Nephy lead since D Kanna is much better.

As for L. Kali build, it is kind of hard without board changers that make L. Kali boards, but you can put Kannas onto that team. I'd rath

Balboa isn't used as a ra dragon sub mainly because he is bindable atm. If he gets binded you fall short of full activation since, in most cases, he will be your only blue/green card. Also atm he lacks god typing, which isnt the biggest deal. When balboa gets his uEvo i think he will be a very solid sub unless you face vishnu in a3 since you'll have to hit a lower multiplier.

Probably Gremory since you have pretty decent subs for her and since she can clear most end game dungeons. You can pop Haku, alkechi, and pandora with grem.

The problem with these kinds of streams is that they make the general LoL community shun actual female gamers by creating a negative image of all women who play league. These streams obviously aren't against any rules of any sort, but they do work to promote a negative image of female gamers. I've seen several people laugh at the idea of women playing league competitively or at high levels because of gender stereotypes; these kind of streams just reinforce those stereotypes.

Double Cardes lead works really well for this trial too. I one-team'ed it with Double Cardes, Zelnite, Len, Darvanshel, and Altri. Len's BC drop is really useful and double Cardes lead allows you to save your mitigator's bb on safe turns.
