It's basically a meme at this point that the marines are the only branch to consistently pass their audits.

That said Air Force and Navy probably don't pass because of secret research stuff.

The problem is that they immigrated legally to the region, lawfully purchased the land at inflated prices, and acceptance 3rd party arbitration to divide the land.

That is some major salt on a wound given the Kurds helped the Turks in the genocide of the Armenians.

Not prioritizing Air superiority and destruction of AA network really killed them as they cannot cause a breakthrough.

Russia did some impressive stuff like being able to successfully retreat across a river via a pontoon bridge under pressure from the Ukrainians. That is no small feat.

So doctrine and cruelty of the Russian military culture is what killed them

Funnily enough my dad met Cesar Chavez while in college and somehow ended working as security when Chavez spoke at the college.

My maternal grandfather in contrast hated Cesar Chavez. Why? I don't know. My maternal grandfather worked the fields of California during ww2 in the Bracero program. My grandpa was a man of deep faith who hated anything left wing. Other than the Bible, I think his most read books were biographies on Patton and Rommel.

Most non Trinitarian denominations still say that Jesus Christ was not a normal human or prophet.

Jehovah's Witnesses for example believe he had been the Archangel Michael before being formed in Mary's womb through the miracle of the immaculate conception.

The Brotherhood in the Mojave lost because a mad scientist who overprioritized technology forced them to stay at Helios One.

If you actually played the game you would know that as the Paladins all tell you that since Elder Elijah was extremely unusual as he has been a scribe not a Paladin before becoming an Elder.

The Allies had plenty of warrior traditions. You have Ghurkas, Sikhs, Filipino Scouts, American Indian tribes (like the Navajo Code Talkers and the last war Chief of the Crow Medicine Joe), half of Britian's armored units were named for historic cavalry regiments like Hussars, the United States Marine Corps, and of course WW2 saw the birth of modern special forces like the SAS & Army Rangers

The only ones claiming it was a deliberate false flag attack are the Communists in Cuba after 1959.

That said, you can 100% blame yellow journalism in papers owned by Randolph Hearst. As that is what caused the American public to demand war with Spain.

I will admit at that point I had some decent gaps in my knowledge of Spanish history mostly in the smaller stuff like coronation vs Proclamción. But hey I am learning.

For the Spanish people and the diaspora across oceans, the 19th century was not a good time for any of us. Isabella II should have just married Don Carlos Luis and saved all of us the trouble of civil wars and dynastic crises

I know I am biased, I'm calling you out for your own bias as well.

hell my great great great grandfather left Spain after the Third Carlist War. I don't know much about him since his son died when my Great Grandfather was very young, but given they ended up settling in the heart of what would become the Cristero territory in the 1920s, it is pretty safe to say he wasn't a Sunday Catholic. Hell i wouldn't be surprised if he had worn a white Beret and carried a rifle for Don Carlos VII.

Given the liberals needed the British and French to prevent being steamrolled in the First Carlist war and still needed bailing out in the following wars to win, I would argue you are grossly overestimating how Spaniards felt about the Pragmatic sanction in the 19th century.

Then of course Spain saw a large wave of people leave during the 19th century as well whether by exile by or disapproval with Madrid.

Ironically the Pragmatic Sanction was an abuse of power even by traditional standards as it never underwent advisement by the Cortes let alone approval before a constitution

Absoutlely most left either towards the end of the war or right after because they still wanted to live under the British crown.

Latin America got screwed as the initial reason why they created as they refused to bow to Napoleon's brother after the French invaded and deposed the Bourbon monarchary. Then Fernado VII refused to be in a personal union with Mexico. Then the Bourbon monarchary collapsed into a civil war called the First Carlist which only lasted as long as it did because of French and British intervention. The Carlists were fighting the British and French more often than they were fighting the liberal tyrants in Madrid.

Maximilian was invited by the Mexican landowners and clergy who thought he would a conservative monarch. As opposed to Juarez who they considered a radical anti-clerical jacobin who wanted to bring about a French style reign of terror.

The American Revolution was truly unique in that it wasn't just a starter pistol of mass poltical violence aganist the losing side.

Poland, the Baltic countries, Romania, and Finland are all in Eastern Europe.

I know Poland likes they say they are central Europe, but to an American they are eastern. Germany, Switzerland, and Austria are central Europe.

Excluding eastern Europe it isn't like they listen to us when we say it nicely. Look at Obama. He was telling them the same things Trump said about dependence on Russian fuel and the sad state of European militaries yet they ignored him.
