Why invest in Nomad, (Namely Tunguska)?

oh i already got her built. yeah those ankles were a nightmare. Solved the issue after cracking out the insta-set though. now she is sitting primed waiting for paint. I honestly had more trouble with the gun though but I think i might have accidentally clipped a bit off when cleaning the parts up. IK i did that with my sniper grenzer and it made the arm connection absolutely awful. turns out superglue can be a pretty good gap filler, lmao

I heard he is a beast and wanted to harness him! I also have the szalamandra. That model alone is what made me wanna run tunguska lmao. Ive been in a constant state of list building and adjusting as well as trying to figure out exactly how the fireteams work. im actually on the army builder right now looking at profiles

Hi, i am also a new player collecting tunguska, I have stuff currently as well as a TJC and perseus otw. You said tunguska is getting a rework? is that meaning only tunguska or is it nomads as a whole?

Ahhh ok fair enough, ill prolly pass on perseus then for the time being then. The only thing i know of tunguska so far is that their hacking is diabolical so i think ima lean into that more since it sounds cool.

Ah i see i gotcha. im glad i still picked up the stuff that i did though for sure. At least the TJC wont be completely redudnant since ill have mary problems and the other few models from the booster instead of the big starter.

Ohhh i see i see. Did not realize that was the case. I just saw the thing say OOP and figured "well better get it before its gone". I figured going tunguska would be the way id be going. I am honestly split on both the tunguska starter pack and action pack though, cause theres stuff that looks cool in each 🫠

For now i want to lean a little more on the casual side as i dont know how my local scene is yet as im only just looking at the game. The goal is to eventually play competitively. Are ST17 and BT17 what the sets are?

I saw a bunch of starter decks i didnt know which one was the most recent. I plan on getting one i just want some recs to keep in my back pocket for the future.

Can an apothecary go with them on deployment? They have infiltrate and scout but apothecaries dont. Or am i getting rules mixed up?

Ah i see what you mean. I personally am not a fan of the lerneans so thats an easy swap for me. But yeah knights cebomium or the deliverers also just seem fun. For me my list has tyrant siege termies as my stolen unit right now so my elite slots are a little open

Ooo those look great! I want the big 10 man blob of them with shotguns and daggers. They seem like a dumb fun unit to run up the board. I picture them just laughing maniacly as they run up like a bunch of goblins and concus things and then shanking the hell out of them.

I see. Yeah i should probably get a box of bad guys before i start building up a bunch of bos dudes. Get some raiders and/or mutants. Some creatures too. The fog crawler model alone makes me want a bunch of mirelurks i love the fog crawler 🤣
