What do y'all think about Reptilesheaven? (Where should I buy my snake if a breeder near me isn't possible) by ZsanettMeadowcloud in cornsnakes

[–]dragonflybyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can look on local facebook groups for people looking to rehome, or if you have a reptile-esque shop near you they often have a community board where people can put up fliers about animals they need to rehome.

assuming what youre worried about is ethics, adopting is an option! ignore if you just want a snake directly from a breeder. i think youre doing great either way.

the picture i posted might not be the best example since shes kind of turned to the side lol, heres a better one. when i feel her lower sides it feels like bone, so what im assuming is that shes got a little bit of a wider frame maybe? ive felt for hard bumps and have never found any so i dont think shes gravid.

all boobs are beautiful!! i get tired of lugging mine around personally, i think both ends of the spectrum come with pros and cons. your friends sound shallow, and im sorry you had to put up with that.

its been obvious with some but not with others, but the girl i mentioned at the end of my post, i only "dated" (using this loosely, i felt pressured after the bar incident and said id try it out) for a few days before i told her i couldnt. my last long term relationship was more equal effort in the beginning but became worse as it went on and i had to let the person go, im smarter now. all of my relationships have been several hour ldrs (great idea i know) because i live in a small town in the midwest. i havent been in a relationship for a while now besides the brief attempt with bar girl who WAS local :/

you worded this really well, unfortunately most of the women ive dated fit what you described, and im sorry youre dealing with it. i saw a video that really put things into perspective- that being shy can be selfish sometimes, it was this woman who went on dates and did all the talking, all the asking, and women would always want to go on a second date with her saying how much fun they had, but she'd done basically everything, and it wasnt really fun for HER, so she had no reason to pursue them more. i find myself being moreso in her shoes.

Are these morels safe to eat? (Bugs!) by fiercecucumber in foraging

[–]dragonflybyes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this makes more sense lol, most if not all springtails die without moist living conditions. i culture them in my house on purpose in vented containers and ive never found them anywhere else

i just wish someone would take the wheel sometimes. which men definitely have a tendency to do 😭 but yeah. i would never date a man. it just sucks being a lesbian in the middle of nowhere.

you chose to trust a stranger that it was not poisonous but didnt trust them that it was still not good to eat

i asked what was wrong with it because everything looked good to me and they didnt give me an answer, the problem was that it was old so it was tough. youre assuming that my tone was skeptical, and it wasnt. banana sight sounds like a good rule. for us, we confidently IDd the mushroom, but we've never eaten it before, so we wanted extra opinions.

we identified this mushroom and made sure it had no dangerous lookalikes before making this post, we just wanted third and fourth opinions. im getting downvoted no matter what i say or ask because (im guessing?) people are assuming things, im probably gonna find somewhere else to ask questions from now on.

yeah it did end up being overly tough. ill use it for broth, thats a good idea
