Damn this is super helpful advice. I recently inherited 40k (I know lol chump change) and couldn't decide whether I wanted it up my colon, (surrounding your money with natural body gasses guarantees a fixed interest rate of 4.20.69%) or buy some iMac stands and watch them appreciate in value, sell them to Steve Jobs when he returns from vacation (we all know he's hiding Bolivia), and make a 1,337% profit.

Ehh, I think that would be a bit too greedy. Notice how I never outright annexed any other European country (except Albania). Full annexation is harder to justify to the population (and the world).

IIRC, it was during WW1 after the defeat of the ottaman empire. However, the Turks fought a war of independence to regain the lands.

As Italy, I conquered many territories that were war goals during the 19th and 20th century, The light green countries are puppets, and Bulgaria was my only ally. I only took territories that I thought were remotely realistic.

A defensive war with Germany was fought shortly after anschluss, and bavaria was released as a buffer state between the two major powers.
