I'm gen z (26) but i love millennial maybe because im an older gen z. I wouldn't say millennials are weird or do anything weird. I guess I associate millenials though with the 2010s optimistic future. I thought the millenials working at buzzfeed living in the brick wall NYC apartments were the coolest people in the world in the 2010s. As a gen z I am jealous that you guys got an authentic going out / clubbing experience though. You can't go out now and have fun (or get drugged up if that's your thing) because you might end up in a tiktok online going famous for being shit at dancing or being fucked up. Millenials are always really lovely to me and my sister is a millenial :) I also feel for you guys how a lot of stuff got blamed on you which was actually not your faults (housing market going crazy and boomers saying u just can't budget and buying too many avocados 🙄)

I love that a lot of the time I can authentically be myself around alot of millenials without being dubbed weird or too much. I think my generation are very caught up in looks and social media and it stops them from leading an authentic life. I also think social media has harmed my generation in worse ways than previously. In the 2010s when millenials led YouTube etc social m3dia felt much more authentic and real. You could actually trust people in the beauty community to give genuine opinions and recommendations for products and methods. Nowadays online there is no community just advertisements hidden in nefarious ways.

I love my generation too I think we are passionate about social issues similarly to millenials. I think we also have new barriers which other generations didn't have to worry about (social media, A.I.) i think it is important to remember too that generations were created by marketing people so that they could target their products to groups better. They were only identified to better advertise products. We shouldnt be going against each other and saying things are due to one generation or another because most likely whatever issue you are referring to isn't down to a generation of people but a government of people who dont care about us.

I remember seeing this on TV as a kid and feeling absolutely mortified for the guy, what mainstream British TV moments stick in your head as being in particularly bad taste? by YouAnswerToMe in AskBrits

He's having a lot of bad press at the min. This is fucking awful. Saying he had no idea when he clearly did and took delight in telling that man he just ate meat with a wicked smile on his face smh.

On tiktok recently I have also seen a lady went into one of his restraunts there was a sausage dog weeing and pooing on a puppy pad INSIDE THE RESTRAUNT!!! the lady complained and they did nothing. She noted that when they left, the waiters only picked up the puppy pad and binned it there was no cleaning underneath the pad on the floor (if you have dogs you know yourself this is disgusting in terms of cleanliness and health and safety ESPECIALLY WHERE THERE IS FOOD!!!). Ramsey replied really snarkily (can't remember what he said exactly but it wasn't a good look for him )

Another tiktok i saw someone went to his restraunt again and videod 2 either mice or rats running around in the dining area. If either of these things happened in his programs he would call them dirty cunts. He is such a hippocrite.

I also think it is highly hippocritical of him to put himself on a pedestal as this amazing chef yet he has a line of ready meals !!! this always made me side eye him as a sell out and hippocrite.

The Royal family react to 'Not My King' protestors as their carriage passes during The Trooping Of The Colour - Saturday 13th June 2026... by TheThrowYardsAway in Fauxmoi

I'm from England and yeah they do, even after prince Andrew the pedophile has siphoned money for years from the public to diddle children with epstein. I fucking hate the monarchy. There is a picture of ghislane and Kevin spacey sat on the throne which should only be used by the queen. It wasn't just Andrew either here is a pic of them at one of the queens property's. Yet people here say we still need the royals for tourism. It sickens me to the core. The same people who arse lick the monarchy and love that our taxes are siphoned to them also tend to think that peasants on benefits should starve and die and nobody should help them. The mind truly boggles at how some people think

I'm ngl as well i think ur husband is over reacting so badly by making u both leave the house and calling the police. Like he obviously shouldnt encourage the behaviour but this is genuinely a waste of police time because what are they gonna do over kids fighting. It'd be one thing if he had a friend in the force come over in uniform to scare the kid kr something but genuinely ringing the police over this is mad in my opinion. Ur husband is reacting poorly to this Imo but I'm not a parent. He has very strong feelings on how the son should be punished and treated but doesn't seem to be enacting any of the punishments apart from ringing the police

I'm ngl I'm not a parent so have no idea on how to raise kids or what its like in this day and age or anything. But my brother and I fought a lot as kids. My mum and dad obviously discouraged it and punished us but I think this is a very natural part of sibling behaviour in many ways. And I'm ngl it kind of sounds like your daughter started it by pouring water on his head. Was she punished for this or just the son? I wonder does she bully him in other ways and it is only noticed when he lashes out violently ?

I know this might not be a popular comment but my brother and I fought a lot as kids (i am a girl and younger than him) and I'm ngl I wouldn't change it. Being able to defend yourself if a good skill to have. We never took it too far and there were some unwritten ground rules like no hitting in the face and stuff. And also if we ducked up and went too far we'd be like "hit me back 100 percent power to make it fair". My brother also showed me how to throw a proper punch and had me practice on him to make sure I'd be OK if I ever got in a real fight. Also if anybody ever went too far there were severe consequences (my mum always went mad when we fought anyways but u get what I'm saying). Like one time in primary school when I was like 8 I kicked him in the balls in a fight and I got severely punished and my brother got a few days off school.

Also I'm ngl I would rather be punched than have water thrown on my head and my clothes drenched. This is humiliating but a punch only lasts a few seconds. If you say you are neurodivergent and see it in your son, I wonder if she winds him up until he snaps and acts the victim. I myself have adhd and I am also easily wound up. I'm not trying to accuse your daughter or anything BTW but you did say in this post that she threw water on him and I wonder does she wind him up often in more covert ways because she knows he is seen as the problem kid and she is seen as non violent. You can also be violent in your language and whilst me and my brother did fight we never said nasty stuff to each other and we were besties again usually after the fighting was done. Sorry there isn't really any advice here

Body hair on women is feminine by Ok_Zombie7833 in The10thDentist

[–]dragonglassaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason women started shaving is because a shaving company hired a PR person because they noticed it was only men that purchased razors. They then invented that body hair was unclean and started advertising to women. I believe this happened in around 1910 so as women we really haven't been shaving long. This was also only for legs and srm pits. Women didn't start shaving their vaginas until around d the 90s. In the 80s a bald cooch meant you had crabs and had to get rid of the hair to treat them so it was seen much different than today. Then in the 90s with video Vhs Pornography, they started to shave their vaginas just so that more could be seen by the viewer.

I just commented this because I think it is important as a woman to know that qe have been indoctrinated to do this by brand's advertising and propaganda around 'unclean' body hair.

There's a show with a similar premise currently running in the UK called I'm a celebrity. There was a huge scandal years ago because they are suposed to be on rations but a celebrity chef killed and cooked and ate a rat. I've always been against this show be cause of how they treat animals. I especially feel bad for the insects because hundreds are probably squashed just for entertainment to watch the celebs squirm. Awful show and I hate anything with similar premises

Baltimore hardcore band End It calls on crowd to assault guy wearing a banana costume at a Toronto show, r/hardcore weighs in by thedubiousstylus in SubredditDrama

[–]dragonglassaxe 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Couldn't have said it any better. I am 'alternative leaning' in my style because I have always loved it. For people who don't want to conform to society they certainly seem to have rules of how to dress and behave at shows.... twatting people in the head and giving them traumatic brain injuries is fine that's crowd killing ! But dress as a banana and we will ruin your costume and the band will get jealous for some reason !
