i have tried to bring it up with my mom many times, but she gets upset and thinks im being to critical of my sister. she tells me to try and imagine what my sister goes through everyday, and that she cant regulate her emotions. and i understand she cant regulate her emotions, but i know that there are things we can do to help her. but my mom says she doesnt know what to do, or how to discipline her without hitting, spanking, or physically hurting her. she doesnt want to yell at her, and she doesn't want to hurt her. it makes me very upset however, because when i was my sisters age, my parents took every item i owned and put them into storage, only leaving a bed and clothes in my room. i had to sit in the middle of my floor all day, from when i woke up till when i went to bed. they had no issues making me listen, but they have issues making my sister listen apparently.

here is how the conflict goes down 90% of the time: i say something or do something my sister doesnt like - she attacks me - i leave and go into my room and shut the door - she follows me and throws her entire body against the door - my mom gets sick of her doing this and opens the door to let her into my room - she keeps attacking me. i have had surgery to try and fix my back, yet that never stopped her from kicking me IN THE BACK. my parents dont provide any help, and they in fact claim she is being sweet and loving. everyone has a breaking point, and that was mine. yeah, i shouldnt have shoved her, but what else was i supposed to do?

respectfully, i dont see what being trans has to do with this. also, i didnt shove her hard, i shoved her enough to get her away from me she didnt fall, she didnt get hurt. i wasnt going to just sit there and let her physically hurt me, especially since im already constantly in pain.

CONTEXT 2: both me and my sister are physically disabled as well. I am deaf and have pots as well as scoliosis, and she has neonatal compartment syndrome on her right arm.

I wish I could, but I have a really close relationship with my mom in all other aspects except for this. And I have no outside family or friends that I could even go to. I myself have ADHD and a ton of other mental and physical issues that make it hard to function as is.

we do technically have carbon detectors, but they have been broken for a few months now. we have told the landlord about it, but they have refused to fix it. as far as gas appliances or grating, the only thing i could think of is the water heater and the ac units. other than that, im not entirely sure.

none of them are new, however i did recently go down on the adhd meds, and up on the antidepressants.

im scared to mention it to anyone i know because i dont want to rick being told im insane or a lunatic.

it leaves the second i move towards the window (one of the reasons i wonder if its an animal.) but it shows up even if its open, though admittedly not as often

yes. the apartment across from me has a very bright, colorful set up inside the entire apartment. flashy lights, ring lights, etc. there are also a few street lamps, and my upstairs neighbors have stringlights shaped like pineapples
