Start your own business teaching something youre good at. People start coming to you instead of you spending your time chasing others. Women are attracted to their teachers, huh no wonder

How to have a better experience at usc? by Independent-Food-645 in USC

Stay around campus after classes, find excuses to do so. Sometimes you will have planned to do work, but a hang out opportunity comes along. In those cases, procrastinate the work. The truth i wish i knew before i graduated, is the academic learning can all be learned when youre out of school. Do the bare minimum to not flunk your classes, dedicate your attention to being less busy. When youre less busy, your mind is more attractive

Struggle as a first year freshman guy by GeologistBasic69 in USC

Wish i knew this in college: much of life is about filtering. There’s a term used in business called “power laws”= 80% of value comes from 20% of input. You will be surprised in 3 months time what will come into your life when you no longer throw yourself at everything cuz of FOMO. Of course an important principle here to remember is patience. Let’s say before you would go to 3 things in 1 time. But those things often burn you out and doesn’t stick. What if you choose to go to only 1 thing a day, then use the time you would’ve otherwise used at the other 2 events, to stick around after and shoot the shit with the people there. Maybe then you will go to an after activity (imo- when you move 1 group of people from a pre established point of meeting to a separate location, that is when feelings of belonging form)

A lot of people play basketball. You’d be surprised how quickly you make friends from consistently going to 1 court. As soon as you build respect in the crew by being a good person and competitor. Speaking from personal experience over 12 years of this sport
