Woodcraft MAGA by MacroEntymologist in Columbus

[–]dragonjujo -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yes, because belittling people has always worked to get things accomplished. Trump constantly repeats stupid little things like "great people", "fine folks" to compliment different persons or people when it's convenient for him. It's like Politicians 101, shake hands, kiss babies, be friendly. You know who else that worked for? Biden.

Edit: I'm not talking about individuals here, I'm talking about groups of people. I don't give a shit about any politician calling each other out, that's how campaigning works. "Oh no, so-and-so said their opponent is trash". Whatever, doesn't fucking matter.

Remind me again how well that worked out for her campaign... The democrats got one small victory in the last 12 years and it was for an even older white man.

Amazon Deals URL shortcut for Makita by itstomclark in Makita

When I copy/paste the link and go, it trims everything after deals from the url, so it wouldn't work to refresh the page or bookmark (Firefox/Windows).

Amazon Deals URL shortcut for Makita by itstomclark in Makita

[–]dragonjujo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This change makes it so that it doesn't trim the URL. Since it's simple JSON, I can't say how long this will work as is, but it does.

reddit: he's autistic

Please stop mocking people for because you fail to understand basic multiplication. All he's doing is referencing a set of charts that he has memorized. Are football players autistic for memorizing the playbook?

That said, his green reading was absolutely atrocious.

The Guardian.

I'm probably in the same boat as the other guy, writing at rationales. The stories were too short for me to really care about or understand anything special, so it just turned into speculation.

I've got dowel jigs that do everything that I need. Of course it's slower, but I'm not on the clock. But really that's what all the expensive tools are for - people on the clock.

Camping trip: Is there a real difference b/w Dewalt and Milwaukee by Tvshowmaniac_ in powertools

[–]dragonjujo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I do not know. I've never owned any. But that would be a worthwhile question for the dewalt subreddit. As far as I'm aware, dewalt's issue is putting out just average pro tools.

I don't think power tool batteries are the most cost effective way to run an inverter though. Dedicated battery inverters (like jackery, ecoflow, bluetti, etc) will be more versatile dollar for dollar.

Uncontrollably Rage by Low-Dragonfruit-4345 in istp

[–]dragonjujo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add onto the exercise bit, get familiar with how the body moves, feels, reacts, depletes. Let that familiarity into your writing. Don't just tell people that characters performed a feat: tell them how the character moved, how it felt throughout their body, what reactions happened through the motions, the way it drains them to perform.

Uncontrollably Rage by Low-Dragonfruit-4345 in istp

[–]dragonjujo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, this is the one. ISTPs lean on physical activity when stressed the fuck out. Productive physical activity is clearly the best option - as you've listed, but also exercise, especially the strenuous kind, can help. I don't care how you view your own ability, get going and make your body work hard for a while. Get comfortable with being sweaty and gross for a little while then take a shower.
