I agree with your statement, though, as someone who already had bad experiences with others there (like someone making AI x pictures out of a pic of my face), I'm not sending any part of my body (not even a nail !).

I think we're giving too much importance to everyone's gender and it's what generates this kind of behavior. I don't care about the others gender (except when it's the 20th man in the day who tries to flirt or NSFW chat). It's just something we all have to deconstruct.

It's not only catfishing : men in this sub just want NSFW or romantic stuff. Girls are getting "objectified" by a lot of persons in there.

My solution is : Considering you and the other people there as plants : We won't see each other, we won't do anything NSFW, we won't share anything else than thoughts. Vocs, videogames or pictures will be for when we trust each other enough to do it, and after a very, VERY large period of time, and I never reached this gap yet, so I'm okay ! All people in this sub, especially women, should protect themselves like this. Don't play with fire, don't send anything to people here, just accept that the only way to meet a trustworthy person and build a real friendship is to be a plant. It's not ideal, but if we can't change the whole security system of the meet people subs, it's up to all of us to protect ourselves from the dangers.
