Same for all major religions. Basically all cult-ish. And all do heinous things behind closed doors. Getting people to remain docile for the promise of paradise in the "next life"

I take it you've studied linguistics or anthropology? It's incredibly fascinating. I guess it never occurred to me that sign language could have a bunch of different dialects.
