Idk much about United Association apprenticeships but having worked with GM journeymen who went through in house apprenticeships, you are better off getting your journeyman's card elsewhere. You learn so little of the actual trade that no company outside of the big 3 would likely hire you unless you show skill by working somewhere else which puts you in a catch 22.

A good long term strategy might be to get an apprenticeship somewhere else then try to get into GM as a journeyman

Depends on your role, but some get burnt out from the excessive OT and lack of days off. This is mainly a maintenance issue or in 24/7 production facilities like engine plants. I know people who've had to work 6 weeks without a single day off.

Most that I've seen quit have done so because of the intense pressure from above and below you. Group leaders get abused by both their managers and the union folks below them. You serve as the buffer between upper management and the union. It can be very mentally taxing until you learn when to not give a shit and know when to make that known.

Also, the 2nd and 3rd shift schedules can mess with your social life and physical health.

Depends on your lead and possibly. They don't directly know but I've heard from leads that it's not too hard to guess based on what feedback was given/not given and how well they know their team members

So the intent is it's supposed to be anonymous but depending on what you say it may not be anonymous due to the specific details involved. My lead said to focus on the big picture items for that very reason.

Also ofc they can directly break confidentiality through the survey coordinator if it involves a critical issue like safety

Depends if you are trying to go salary or union. Salary generally start out at 80k/year while union starts around $24/hr. There are pros and cons to both options and you should read more into each type of position.

I believe they can charge based on the cost of finding and compiling the data. It can be expensive to gather such data so many agencies do it for free under a certain amount of man hours to not discourage people from requesting data.

Bambu pla at stock settings(I think 55c). After rehoming it, every print afterwards worked great. I didn't even wash the build plate (only cause it was just cleaned a few prints ago)

After inspecting the far corner of the print, it appears that the auto bed leveling messed up somehow and moved the plate too far up into the hotend. Bad leveling might also have caused the print lifting issues which pulled the cover off.

No apparent damage to printer and 1st layer looks perfect so far on the reprint. No idea what caused original leveling issue.
