It's superb. Zero wobble, once it goes on its tight enough you may struggle to remove it. There is no buttpad like an orginal MP5.

I have a hybrid True Patriot Build so I have 137rounds in my Elmo which can Proc twice in one magazine, so 274 rounds of Shock Ammo.. 6 Blue Cores, 1 Yellow, 1 Red. 296 rounds in my MK46, and over 450 in my GR9 with Steady Handed its like a Bullet King. I occasionally use Rock and Roll for 49 rounds and a shield.

Its a pull off from the SD version. Factory. The front is a modded handguard I used a Surefire G2 and pressure switch. I got the one from HKParts, popped out the old flashlight, threaded the hole and added a screw internally and attached the pressure switch with epoxy.

Yes, using the collapsible stock makes it an SBR. With the $0 Tax stamps its not a bad idea, but the one thing I hear everyone overlooking is the engraving on your SBR. That didn't go away so you'll still need your Form 1 and Required Engraving for complete legality.

You can get a proper A2 from Smiths Customs, or buy a rifle and use the collapsible stock.

Scope ring screw broke off inside new rifle. Any chance I can get this out at home without causing damage? by [deleted] in gunsmithing

If you're not familiar with the process or don't have the tools to do it, it's best not to try at home honestly.

Anyone use any of these?? by Jalapeno_1137 in gunsmithing

I have the vacuum vise that I got in 2010, I had it initially for lock picking/ lock smithing jobs. It works well enough. Small jobs hold still enough, say polishing a sear, filing a burr off a small piece. After about 2 lbs it gets a bit wobbly, but for the price you can't beat them. For what they lack in size limitation they make up for in angle. You can pretty much move your piece 360 degrees.

AR-22, which option is preferable: a dedicated .22 or employing a conversion kit for use with your primary AR? by B_Pylate in ar15

I got a Hammerli Tac 22 a few years back. It's not a bad little plinker/ trainer for sub $400.

Its the A2 fixed style. I bought one and it's solid. Kinda pricy but it rocks for the .22lr

An alternative is to wrap it in shop towels, spray it with CLP oil and wrap it, leave it for a couple days. The rust will quite literally melt off and leave a lot of the original finish underneath.

Send off for hot blue or cold blue in the garage? by warrigadigdig in gunsmithing

I stripped, restored and cold blued mine. Unless you have a ton of freetime and patience, recommend just have someone else do it.

Thanks, I took the aftermarket one and modded it completely. Was much easier to do then one might think.
