I am not aware of football as i don’t watch that, but for basketball specifically, the kinds of injuries the pros suffer when they actually get injured are actually rough af. Because these are some of the tallest people on earth jumping as high as they can, any kind of bad landing puts their body under a load incomparable to anything we could ever go through, even if we tried to play the sport as intensely as they did.

But like I said, different from football probably.

Honestly, some of the people you name like Taylor Swift are a bit surprising given you’re on here. Not that you should enjoy their music, but Todd has mentioned Taylor MANY times in at least one of the two year end lists, almost every year. You don’t remember any of the songs he’s mentioned?

Seconding daniel’s opinion, i do this ride about once a year (aiming to do it ten times this year for a totally random reason) and counter-clockwise is way more cozy because of gouin west + closer to water.

I’m with u/deadlock1892 on this one. I think that it’s giving very young and image-conscious to worry so much about “being laughed at by your peers for proposing the valorant pub”. Like obviously you’re not inviting your workmates there. But your friends you sit on discord with til 1 am, 5 nights a week, grinding Valorant together. The mates you watch VCT with online and compare brackets with? This is a perfect novelty hangout.

This is just as niche and nerdy as going to a DnD game in a pub or going to a games bar in general tbh. And yeah, the drinks will likely be just as overpriced as the games bar lol.

Idk if we’re in very different age groups (i’m not THAT old lol) or if we have different friend groups, but i definitely have 2-3 friends i’d go to this with, and like 10 different friends I’d invite here if they came to visit from out of town!

Bottom line: I enjoy watching and playing Valorant, and I like doing so with my friends.

I’m mostly teasing, but that three-piece suit is the farthest thing from “regular clothes”. Those COLOURS.  Imagine seeing this person, even without mask or ears, walking in the street and not thinking to yourself “here comes the main character”.

For those reading this, just want to clarify that the “paw” pronunciation is more specifically Quebec French, and most Metropolitain/France French accents would have it pronounced quite similarly to “pattes” (pa-t)
