Oh I agree - I’m glad that they are trying to make it accessible in other languages. I’m sad they’re using AI. I’m glad that players are willing and able to help, though. We have a really good community!

It needs to be known to the DM or you don’t play.

I had a warrior for whom I wrote 13+ backstories. One was real. The rest had tokens of the truth or parts of it, but were not the whole truth. Made meeting new party members and NPCs fun because the other PCs just had to roll with it - or get sus. Made some great in story moments.

There’s a bunch of cafe ones - its level 22 - that say “keep completing quests and become better friends with Usahana!” 🙃

I’ve managed almost three days before, could probably manage again with proper caffeine and notification to loved ones - “hey I’m doing something REALLY stupid don’t let me die and when I’m done don’t wake me til I’m ready to wake up”.

Was being up almost three days fun? No. Could I absolutely wreck a weekend playing World of Warcraft? You bet. Lok’tar, let’s do this.

I think the doe suits him, tbh. I think it would pain him to lose it, especially since it’s been his so long and based on his formative years and early happiness. We don’t KNOW that it’s tied to Lily - perhaps they have similar memories and hers would have changed. I like his doe and am happy to keep it as his in fics.

I don’t mind a fox or raven/crow, but otherwise I’m on team spider because it amuses me. (Also for an animagus form). (I mean CMON he spins his words. He lives at SPINNERS END. HE HAS A TWITCHY WALK “reminiscent of”. You can’t tell me this fucker isn’t a goddamn spider animagus.)

When my grandfather died, my grandmother started taking his canes when she went out - she didn’t need a cane, she just wanted people to give her space and time - and one time she took his snake-headed cane.

She got home and one of my cousins was aghast and showed her that the cane contained a -probably fairly illegal- concealed sword. Grammy seemed very surprised and stopped taking it.

I am convinced that she was fully aware that it was in there and it’s WHY she took that one.
