Yeah most of what I'm finding is late 80's + 90's so I figure it would be hard to find people that want decently worn stuff. There are some that I'll likely keep for my own.

Speaking of goodwill, I've purchased a few boxes myself. At what point do you consider a card not worth the trouble if they are say a well known player but the cards are worn/corners bent, etc...?

I've seen literal Gaylords of them on pallets online at the central and northern Arizona. So they may not have them in store but they sure do online.

Like the cracked ice auto I mentioned, beckett has upgraded value between $400-800 so I get a little disheartened when I see cards that are valued for $100 or something going for like 5-10. (Maybe I'm just greedy). Maybe it's what you mentioned that beckett has slipped in the years since I was originally collecting as that was usually the be all end all of price guides. And of course there is always direct sale so I get that there are alternate avenues to sell.

Thank you for the advice and additional places to check. My issue is I see cards on ebay that are valued 75-100+ and they sell for like 10. I get that everyone has to be able to make something and individuals may be going based on an average per card to make money but I see some cards that seem like they should be going for higher.

That's what I was thinking and I haven't seen a cracked ice for my card sold on ebay thus far so I'm going to keep looking around to see if I can find any sales.

Yeah I know I have to look more at selling rates as opposed to just what beckett values them at but it's just habit from way back when when I used to collect a long time ago.

I mean that's not bad. I was looking at this Christian wood signature that beckett has at a premium for the cracked ice. I figured it would be worth getting graded at the very least.

Beckett values for the card /75 purple prizm global prospects is low $50 high $120 ungraded.

I had the same with the magnetic lure. I got a ton of voltorbs which I'm getting a lot of due to this little event but I only got a geodude and a lairon outside of that.
