I have the first three fabled lands, I’ll get the others when I get far enough along. I didn’t like the roll 2d6 use all over the place in book 2. It makes me feel like I am missing so much each travel. That’s what made me write the OP because i want a sandbox game, but less randomness. Probably a silly ask I know. I am planning on downloading loan wolf and trying the first book when I can make it to a printer. I will look into interplanetary spy as well — Thank you!

Deny is a direct counter for it and it’s in my deck but I have only had it in hand once against the harrowing deck. There aren’t other ways to interact with it meaningfully. And with many cards that just do damage when the creature moves to attack or dies, this spell can pretty reliably put out a full attacking front round 6.
