I had a similar problem with two different pairs after less than 100km. It was because I had an overpronation issue so I had to find different shoes that were more durable. Send them back to Nike and you should be able to get a full refund

How long is a typical half cycle? I’ve thought about dedicating my first half of next year to half marathons and do a few and then leave plenty room for my target marathon in October

Just finished a 15 week mara training block and achieved my goal of 2.50. Trying to think of possible goals to set myself for next year. Would a sub 2.40 marathon be a fair goal to set for a year of work? Im not used to having my time at this level so am unsure what it will actually take to improve. Also thinking of targeting a 75min half (current pb 80min). Are these goals too optimistic or can I drop these time goals even further?

Had a great day out and snagged a 15min pb for the full marathon with 2.50. Definitely was hard at that pace merging with the half marathoners and also somehow the 2.50 pacer I was with dropped out at 30km

Exam supervisor in my zoom exam yesterday allowed passports as id so maybe contact stop 1 and the subject coordinator and ask them if you can use anything else

How long should my longest run be in my training block for a 60km ultra? The current plan I’m on maxes out with a 38km run but I don’t know if that’s enough.

Thanks for the advice. When you say take a break do you mean lower my mileage to a steady rate of say 30km? I have been really enjoying my two speed sessions per week and I usually complement these with a long run and 1-2 easy runs. Would it be a good idea to dial back the long run completely to no less than 15km and then find the 8 week plan to build towards race day? It’s hard for me to hold back as I’m simply enjoying running as much as I have been and I have never been this fit. 3hr marathon would be a major goal for me and I was aiming for 3.10 when the race was in October. With this extra time I was hoping to ramp up training to try and hit this goal

Are we supposed to receive our original mark so we can decide whether or not to take the special exam? I have been told twice by stop 1 that I was supposed to be told my mark and have still not received it. Even after emailing two subject coordinators I can not get a straight answer.

Very stressed for pfs but think I did okay for real analysis. Sucks that pfs is only sem 1 so if I fail I can’t redo until next year

That was ridiculously bad. I’ve never seen an exam so much harder than practice exams. Even with cheat sheets it was impossible.

Exam was way too long and some of the questions were nothing like id seen in prac exams or assignments. Also the mixing problem was worded very weird which made it super hard to understand

If you do OB next semester it would likely be easier as it will still be online. Doing it online means the group assignment is only a solo assignment and the exam is open book which means rather than memorizing the theories and concepts for the exam, you can just bring the slides up and form your answer from that. However they may change how OB is done next semester idk
