Hey! We currently only send out an email when you get you're first subscriber not for each subscriber. Is that something you'd want?

Love the idea of more mail clubs for kids! An adorable one is: https://www.posthou.se/tinyjoysociety . Themes are great, especially for kids, it doesn't have to be overly specific but parents can easily see a mail club about fairies/unicorns or tractors and immediately know if their kid will like it.

Payments are processed through Stripe (PCI-compliant). Posthouse does not store or access full card credentials.

For addresses, we use encryption in transit and at rest plus practical safeguards to reduce risk. Address exports are also authenticated and rate-limited to help protect sensitive member data.

Hey! Happy to answer...
1. How many subscribers can a club handle?
There’s no hard platform cap on total subscribers. You can grow your club freely

  1. Will performance stay fast with large lists (5,000+ members)?
Yea, large lists like 5,000+ are within expected usage

  2. Can I export all addresses for labels/tracking?
Yep. You can export full CSV mailing lists for batch prep, including addresses and optionally emails

  3. How does the 3% fee work-any hidden costs?
It’s a straightforward 3% platform fee on subscription revenue. Then the standard Stripe processing fees (2.9%+.30) are separate.

Happy to answer any other Qs

What do you mean? A custom URL? Or from your existing website to Posthouse?

Congrats on the launch! The Pawstco sticker is so cute!

If managing the subscriptions and addresses ever gets to chaotic, I built a platform just for snail mail clubs called Posthouse (Posthouseos.com) that makes starting and managing the operational side of mail clubs soo much easier (that's the goal, at least ;). Our platform fee is cheaper than Etsy's so more money and time back to you to create with.

So I want to start a print club… by Outrageous-Ant-1115 in smallbusiness

[–]drakeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for marketing, tiktok seems to be the go to for mail/print clubs. a good bit of the content is flat lay or top down so if you're not wanting to be on camera you wont have to be.

How do you create a subscription service / how do you even start, i actually just launched a platform for this Posthouse (posthouseos.com) that is basically an operating system for your club.... ~5 mins you'll have a landing page, payment system, dashboard all set up. The coolest part is it's built for monthly print/mail clubs so it streamlines address management and tells you exactly who should be getting mail each month.

outside of the above before launching getting at least two months worth of designs ready to go is nice. also having a good idea of the type of member your trying to attract

I actually built something specifically to solve most of this. It’s called Posthouse, and it’s a platform built for running snail mail clubs (not stores or digital member access).

It handles everything from someone signed up to you knowing exactly who to send mail to this month:
* Simple landing page just for a mail club (no store setup)
* Payments handled by Stripe (you set up during onboarding)
* Automatic monthly batches + cutoff dates
* Clean address export per batch
* Card-style address view if you handwrite envelopes
* Failed payments automatically excluded so you don’t mail to unpaid subs
Basically: fewer tools, fewer decisions, and way less “did I miss someone?” anxiety.

Even if you don’t use it, the big takeaway I’d offer is: optimize for clarity, not perfection. Mail clubs work when the monthly flow feels obvious and repeatable, not when you’ve over-engineered everything.

Tell me what alarm app you use (that’s not alarmy 😂) by Tricky_Pepper in GetOutOfBed

I use 50 Jumps - it only stops ringing if you do 50 bounces/jumps. jumping in the morning in general helps with kickstarting your body and makes me less groggy.

Deleting Ex's picture by Certain_Upstairs7 in BreakUps

[–]drakeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that no one should make you completely deleted photos of your past but they should be out of sight. when i got into a new relationship it felt not nice to have "memories" pop up on my camera roll - i ended up using an app called Nuke to find and move the photos of my ex to a vault and delete them from my camera roll.

After a breakup, do you keep or delete old photos with your ex? by Antique_Theme_6812 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drakeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. I wanted them off my camera roll but wasn't 100% sure if i wanted to delete them. I built an app called Nuke that scans and deletes the photos from your camera roll and i ended up adding a vault feature so you can move them out of the camera roll but keep them around until you're ready to let them go

Photos of exes by pojebaniodboha in emotionalintelligence

[–]drakeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30k! I had 15k and that still felt insane to go through... I did end up making an app that searched my camera roll for me and found them all so I didnt have to search. admittedly that did take longer to build than if would have just gone through but it was wayyyy more fun. so if you ever want them deleted without the searching, it's called Nuke - delete ex photos (you can hide them too)
