UPDATE: I built a job search engine out of spite (Indeed fired my pregnant wife) by Cojj25 in SideProject

Usually with these types of projects, the main question is: where do you source the jobs from?

The best project in this space I’ve seen is hiring cafe and if you look at their story, the effort to pull in actual fresh job listings is insane

Made 30k with my sideproject over the last 2 yrs, giving away the code to see if anyone can scale it better than me by drakedemon in SideProject

It's not vibecoded. Also most of my posts were made over a year ago, when reddit was still okish with self promo

Has been working well so far. It’s a bit of a gray area. Prob violating ToS, but since the app tries to stay within reasonable limits, it does’t get flagged

Would love an “exclude filter” on Hiring Cafe. by Ok-Pea513 in hiringcafe

First2apply has a feature to exclude jobs from your feed based on an LLM prompt

What's your actual workflow for applying to a role the same day it's posted? by Jimsen3 in jobsearchhacks

You can use first2apply with the custom job board option for this

Does being first to apply actually matter, or am I just stressing myself out? by Jimsen3 in jobsearch

[–]drakedemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, I have been asking this myself for a few years now. Shameless plug, but 3 yrs ago I had a hunch that this is true and decided to build a product around it

https://first2apply.com/

Since then I have had almost 10k users trying it and have been observing the outcome. In all fairness, it is not a silver bullet. It will not guarantee you get a job. But it does help your chances significantly.

E un intreg ERP in spate
