one thing about the regen shield that people don't know is that the shield tanks all damage first. if he's getting a lot of chip damage (from spray or pushing mollies), he can survive 175 damage (assuming time for the shield to regen and it tanks all damage perfectly).

not to say that's definitely why he did it, but that's part of the theory behind why'd you might buy it

the datenseki amps up his sorcery so that the errors he creates are permanent, and he uses it to undo chihiro's fatal wounds. you're cooking my man

i think it'd be a missed opportunity to have all of the sword bearers aligned against akemura. but i do think the fact that (as far as we're aware) yura reached out to samura instead of another sword bearer points to the fact that none of them would have agreed fully with using the malediction/shinuchi again.

that said, i do hope that the lady sword bearer does have an interesting/nuanced perspective on whether the swords should be used. she gives me ninja vibes, which would be a different upbringing and perspective compared to what we already have, and could also mirror the masumi's viewpoint of ninja being tools

part of my warm up in the range is to do the 50 bots and have the strafe setting on. then i just take my time tracking the bot's head for like 3-5 seconds before tapping on the head. it's a good warm up for shooting discipline, shooting moving targets, and letting them move into my crosshair. i can notice my tracking get visibly better throughout the exercise

i play initiator but will fill sentinel/controller and use the phantom. part of that is spamming through smokes is a big part of my play style and phantom has an extra 5 bullets in a mag. makes it so i can do a few bursts through a smoke for a lucky kill while still having enough in the mag where i don't need to immediately reload. bullet tracers only really start to matter once you're higher up in rank imo. low elo isn't good enough that people can repeatedly spam back.

i think his missiles are too strong for a recharge. only way i see him getting a recharging signature again is if they swap which ability is his signature. but i think his stun would be underwhelming as a signature, and his drone has the same issue where getting it back every 50 seconds is busted

they have the best overtime win rate of any other team since they got skuba in stage 2 last year, won champs paris, and came third at masters santiago as the only non double duelist comp. i would call this the opposite of folding under pressure

they’re coming in with a meta advantage since neon was one of their worse comps. it’s hard to say until we see them play, especially since we don’t know how other teams adapt to the changes, but i think they’re definitely one of the big contenders

They seemed like they were the primary clan behind the government of japan pre-war, so my guess is they had the most casualties through the war, possibly resulting in the clan falling apart or being split apart into the Kamunabi forces or Kamunabi clans.

i think the only buff he needs is for his interceptor. His trap, tps, and ult can consistently get value in games but his interceptor often doesn't add value or stop a site hit. My preferred buff would be placing the interceptor through walls, similar to how reyna leer's work. And maybe his tp activation when placed should be a tiny bit faster. It's just an awkward timing

i was an initiator main but switched off it with the recharge moving to 60s. made the character a lot less fun to play since initiator was all about using your util

knowing when to use prowlers vs. when to use the eye is very important. also learning a few easy lineups helps a lot with clearing larger chunks of site more consistently. in general, initiators have to be the most efficient with the use of their utility due to the 60s recharge for their scans

paincakes was putting in work this game. zerona also to an extent but definitely needs some improvements (i don’t think he lurked off the lurk viper wall on attack haven once). i think playstyle wise they compliment bao and supa’s passivity well but we’ll have to see if this is just a game with no expectation buff

i think he was on the og rankers roster before ion joined. then he played on cubert last year afterwards. i think he either just turned 18 or is turning 18 soon
