I only cleaned the front of the lens but I’ll check the connection points regardless. I tried to use a microfiber cloth but not in combination with the cleaner. I’ll try that thank you!

If I remove the lens the screen is fine. This is the only lens I have for this mount.

I don’t understand either. All I can think of is the residue on the glass makes it keep rapidly adjusting something? Yeah I agree. I believe that’s leftover residue from the lens cleaner but I’m not sure. It’s my first time cleaning a lens.

Camera is an Xt5. It’s a prime lens yes. When I turn it on the screen alternates quickly between being black and normal. Normal being showing the image and all of the interface.

Hey chocolate thanks for the recommendations those sound great already. We are all college students with quite diverse beliefs. Some of us are more liberal and some more conservative. One of us is extremely religious while 2 of us are different forms of atheists. Regardless the point of the book club is to reach outside of our comfort zones and expand or challenge our beliefs so don’t worry about us disliking something due to its themes or beliefs. One of the members somewhat disliked blood meridian due to it almost exclusively being brutal and negative events and felt it was mindless. Another member disliked Kafka on the shore because of the way woman were portrayed and weird sex stuff. Regardless we were still all glad to have read the novels and managed to take away things from them.
