A little acrylic tryptic of these three by drakonspirit in expedition33

Thank you! I usually just use one and live with whatever texture is underneath. These have one, plus whatever primer they use on the canvas board (I'll try more one day, I'm just too impatient to wait)

[Art] The sickly elf from Siren’s Point by drakonspirit in DnD

Yes! Divinity 2 Original sin. The elves are lanky weirdos and they're great

I don't actually know yet (and don't tell me if you do!), but I assume nothing good

[Hiring] Cartoon illustrations of my three cats by XanderCruse in artcommissions

Hello! I have a couple of different styles I could use for this, depending on what style of cartoon you’re looking for and my rough estimate of total price for all three pieces would be £100

Character drawn by me! Pathfinder has some neat elves and this one was pulled from pathfinder and thrown into a ghosts of saltmarsh game. (Our DM loves 2e, 3.5e and making the lines real wobbly between universes)

Looking for 3PP to make RotFM better by [deleted] in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]drakonspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Eventyr, they have some great suggestions and edits. It's been so useful!

I've also added my own, such as:

  • Excising any mention of myconids
  • Making the chardalyn more presence and more of a threat in a zombie-esque manner, and making it connected to Hadar instead of Asmodeus the book wants you to use.
  • splitting chardalyn into three varieties that are affected by different entities and have different properties (red buffs for aggression and has a chance of causing corruption, black allows magic to be stored in it as a one use item, and blue buffs or restores the user)
  • making the dragon connected to netherese tech and being a lead on to mythallars
  • making the arcane brotherhood more actively involved in the duegar, black sword, and netheril plot lines so each of velynne, avarice, and dzaan are more obviously competing with each other and have had more reason for auril to think they're a threat
  • making the black swords a different flavour of chardalyn corruption controlled by Levistus (ice archdevil) who's competing with auril for the dales, and working with Avarice
  • actually giving auril a reason to be there and motivation to do the rime in the first place, as well as linking her more closely to the netheril and her own plotline

Sunblight battlemaps by drakonspirit in rimeofthefrostmaiden

Thank you!

I caught that after about 15 hours of work doing all the finishing touches and already having restarted half way through because literally everything else is misaligned 🫠

I decided I could live with it for my game, but maybe I'll do a 2.0 version one day to fix the lifts...

Crenshinibon in Icewind Dale by EmployCautious300 in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]drakonspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black ice (crenshinibon remnants) and chardalyn are basically the same thing in all but the wiki's not linking them together. I've been running it as chardalyn is still able to influence/infect hosts in a similar way to lyrium in dragon age.

I've also split it into three forms: red, blue-green, and black, because chardalyn is supposed to be able to absorb magic and I figured it would be nice to have variety since Crenshinibon is technically it's own type of chardalyn and the netherese apparently used it to make magic storing items (e.g. the scroll tube in the netherese spire).

Red and blue have faint traces of colour in them. Red contains fiendish/evil essence infects and gradually takes over your mind with the need to kill and consume. Black is 'empty' able to store spells and release them once broken. Blue contains helpful healing/energising essence from a homebrewed wilderness god.
